1. Find a picture of yourself when you were looking your best and were happy with your figure and another when you were not, stick them both to the front of your fridge so that everytime you reach for a snack you are reminded!
2. Whenever you are hungry have a glass of water first, the brain sends the same signals whether you are hungry or thirsty.
3. Move your body everyday, whether this be doing the housework, running up and down the stairs 10 times or going for a brisk walk, it all helps!
4. If you eat when you get bored or just when you are in front of the tele, make it healthy, cut up some fruit, put it in a tuperware box and freeze it, it's healthy and takes ages to eat!
5. Clear out the cupboards, if there isn't any chocolate in the house, then you can't eat it!
6. Jump off the bus one stop early, walk the kids to school, walk to the shop for your paper rather than driving, these small changes will make a big difference!
7. Exercise with a buddy, you can motivate each other and be there for one another when your will power is lacking.
8. Have realistic goals, if your dream is achievable and you can see progress, you will get there!
9. Don't beat yourself when you've had a bad day, no one is perfect, just get back to the healthy plan as soon as possible.
10. Dance, music makes us feel happy and exercise releases endorphins, burns energy and is great fun, whether you take up a class or just dance around the kitchen it's a great workout.
